On the eye: The colour is characterised by a brilliant light straw-gold. Effervescence is dense and persistent, with fine, regular bubbles.

There is great intensity to this finely crafted Champagne. It?s rich and toasty, with flavors of ripe gooseberries and, in this example, some good bottle age. Henriot, which also owns Bouchard P?re et Fils in Burgundy, is obviously on a good streak at the moment. Imported by Henriot USA.
