"Tiger"

 Chinese New Year is just around the corner. This is now the year of the 'Tiger’, so there is only one proper way to start it off without any problems. Established in 1932, comes the world acclaimed lager, simply named.....Tiger.  Hazy straw hue, one fingered, creamy persistent head. Loose lace is left. Smooth coriander upfront in aroma, with citrus rind secondary. Clean wheat tartness and trace clove round out the nose. Orange peel bitterness gives way to grainy wheat, sweetly herbal coriander and light residual sweetness. Lightly bodied, but smooth and sufficiently proteinaceous in mouthfeel. Finishes clean, with orange zest and pleasantly grainy wheat notes lingering. A clean, well balanced and refreshing Wit. The spices were not at all overbearing, so be careful, relax, and enjoy.
