Samuel Adams Summer Ale (JULY 2009)

This ale has a crisp and sweet smell that consists of lemon and malts. The taste of the ale is tangy at first due to the lemon and spices it is brewed with. The tangy feeling goes away quickly and the flavor of the malts pokes through quickly. Highly carbonated. The flavor is pretty good and definitely has a summer feel to it, but it is thin and will taste different towards the end. A good beer to have with a steak or burger because it will not be too filling and would complement food made on the grill pretty well. Overall the Samuel Adams Summer Ale is great ale for the outdoors, & goes perfectly with any picnic. So enjoy Independence Day, be careful, relax, & enjoy.
